Music Goals & To-Do List
* Start taking voice lessons again (even if it’s only twice a
month)
* Get *one* really awesome “stage” outfit. Maybe two, one for each
band.
* Keep writing. Writing, writing, writing. The more I write, the
better the odds that *something* good will come out one of these days…
* On that note… lower my standards. Record demos and release
them. Interact with “fans.” If I wait for everything to be perfect… it
will never be.
* Record that jazz EP I’ve had in the works for, what, six or so
years now? It’s four songs that I could sing in my sleep! I have a
willing accompanist. Just get it done already!
* (And after a few refresher lessons… the same goes for the
classical EP I’ve been planning.)
* Stop being so competitive. Stop comparing. Just be ME.
* Save for a new digital, portable keyboard. For my sake, and for
the bands’!
* Take advantage of the ease-of-playability of my new guitar &
learn some new, more advanced chords!
* I should probably actually *study* some music theory… (sigh)
* Build websites for the bands - improve my own website. (Incl.
scheduling photoshoots! Getting the guys in line for that one should
be… interesting…)
* Finish mixing the Hotel Gypsies “Fireside Sessions” EP.
(Research royalties, package, distribute, etc.)
